Opportunity Engine

Spot Your Biggest Keyword Wins at a Glance

The Opportunity Engine analyzes every page and query in your Google Search Console and assigns each a score from 0 to 100 — instantly showing you which keywords will move the needle fastest.

Three Types of Keyword Opportunities

Every opportunity is classified into one of three actionable categories, each with a different optimization playbook.

90–100

⚡ Striking Distance

Keywords ranking #11–#20 on Google. Already close to Page 1 with real impression volume. A targeted content refresh or internal link is often enough to push them over.

  • Position range: 11–20
  • High impressions, low clicks
  • Fastest time-to-rank-1 potential
70–89

📉 Low CTR on Page 1

Keywords already ranking on Page 1 but attracting far fewer clicks than their position should generate. The fix: improve title tags and meta descriptions to match search intent.

  • Position range: 1–10
  • CTR below position benchmark
  • Quick meta-copy wins
50–69

🚀 High Potential

Keywords with high impression volume but currently ranking lower than page 1. High-value targets for new or significantly expanded content to capture more search demand.

  • High impression volume
  • Position 20–50
  • New or expanded content target

How the 0–100 Opportunity Score Works

Real Impression Signal

The score is anchored to actual GSC impressions — not third-party volume estimates. High impression count = higher signal quality, higher base score.

Position Proximity Factor

Keywords closer to Page 1 receive a multiplier bonus. A keyword at position 11 scores higher than one at position 35, all else equal — reflecting realistic ranking effort required.

CTR Gap Analysis

Expected CTR for each position is compared to actual CTR. A large gap between expected and actual clicks adds a CTR opportunity bonus to the final score.

Estimated Click Gain

Alongside the score, the engine estimates how many additional monthly clicks you could gain by moving each keyword to position 1 or improving its CTR — giving you an ROI-style forecast.

Top-Score Prioritization

All your keywords are ranked by score from highest to lowest. Scroll down the list and your highest-ROI work is always at the top — no filtering or manual sorting required.
